Michael Clegg is the Donald Bren Professor of biological sciences, ecology & evolutionary biology in the School of Biological Sciences at University of California, Irvine. His work has earned him several awards, including election to the National Academy of Sciences (1990) and an associate fellowship in the Academy of Sciences of the Developing World (2006). Dr. Clegg has served as president of the American Genetic Association (1987) and currently serves as foreign secretary of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
