Patricia Brennan

The Future of Patient Centered Care

Dr. Patricia Brennan is a nationally recognized health care professional, having been elected to the Institute of Medicine in 2002 and the New York Academy of Medicine in 2009. In addition, she maintains fellowships with the American Academy of Nursing (1991) and the American College of Medical Informatics (1993). Currently, Brennan is the Lillian L. Moehlman Bascom Professor in the School of Nursing and College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is the theme leader of the Living Environments Laboratory at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery. Dr. Brennan has leveraged her expertise in nursing and industrial engineering to improve patient-care quality.
