Kyle Harper graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Letters and earned his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in History from Harvard University. He is the Interim Senior Vice President and Provost at the University of Oklahoma and Professor of Classics and Letters, as well as the Director of the Institute for the American Constitutional Heritage. His first book, Slavery in the Late Roman World, AD 275-425, won the James Henry Breasted Prize of the American Historical Association, and his second book, From Shame to Sin: The Christian Transformation of Sexual Morality in Late Antiquity, won the Outstanding Publication Award in Historical Studies from the American Academy of Religion.
